Peru: Peru takes China as reliable friend in envisioning promising future
Lima, Peru - Recent Peru, the host country of this year's Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit, hopes to work with China to jointly envision the future and develop new projects, said President of Peru's Council of Ministers Gustavo Adrianzen in a recent interview with China Media Group. Peru chairs APEC for the third time in 2024, hosting more than 160 meetings across five cities, including Arequipa, Cusco, Trujillo, Pucallpa and Lima, which Adrianzen considers as a privilege. Adrianzen also said that Peruvian President Dina Boluarte was deeply impressed by China's development achievements during her state visit to the country in June this year. The 31st APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting is scheduled to take place from Nov 10 to 16 in Lima under the overarching theme of "Empower, Include, Grow." Shotlist: Lima, Peru - Recent: 1.
