Residents were seen throwing their drunk neighbour into the dumpster as he tried to attack them.

Footage shows two locals collecting bags of garbage and putting them into the bin when a man in black shirt appeared swinging his fists towards them in Singapore on November 4.

They tried to ignore him at first, with the resident in blue shirt trying to mediate at first.

However, the rowdy local kept tried to hit them so the two others helped carry him instead and placed him in the large trash container with wheels.

He refused at first, trying to push himself away from the two before being finally chucked inside.

A police spokesman said: 'A report has been lodged and we will investigate what happened.'

An onlooker who saw them from the other side of the building can be heard laughing.

It was unclear why the seemingly drunk local was attacking them.
