"It is important to remember how APEC started, over 30 years ago, precisely with this initiative for the countries that surround the Pacific Ocean to have collaboration and cooperation not only in trade, but also integration in concepts, in technology transfer, and in collaboration.

So, this initiative for how we envision the next 30 years definitely starts with the need to maintain a strong commitment to cooperation. That is the first thing for all countries: that we continue cooperating and don't lose sight of the three fundamental elements that gave life to this Asia-Pacific economic forum, which are the issues of tariff barriers, freeing up markets, and strengthening the market with different initiatives, as well as this economic and technological cooperation.

Of course, look, I think that any meeting, the G20, APEC, which can contribute, participate, and share experiences generated with different models and policies, are of great importance and that no country should fail to participate."
