Monkey caught stealing food from the back of pickup trucks
A monkey was caught stealing food from the backs of pickup trucks.
Wuttipong Buayai witnessed the mischievous primate attempting to rummage through items in the back of white vehicles stuck in traffic in Roi Et, Thailand, on October 6.
Footage shows a woman aboard one of the cars shooing the monkey away. It then walked to another vehicle to search for food and spotted a snack, prompting it to immediately open the package.
Upon seeing this, the vehicle owner stepped out and drove the animal away.
Monkeys are common in the area, and there have been reports of them taking items and even barging into homes in search of food.
