This is the moment a helicopter collects water to fight the Orange County wildfire.

Footage shows a firefighting Good Will Fire Department aircraft scooping water from Greenwood Lake on November 12.

The department confirmed that a crew of five, supported by Car 2 and Engine 4, was on site establishing a water supply line to help refill tankers and brush trucks.

Officials said the Jennings Creek bushfire began on October 17, went dormant, and reignited on November 8.

The blaze had consumed nearly 5,000 acres along the New York-New Jersey border as of Thursday night.
