This is the terrifying moment three cars caught fire in an apartment block car park in Thailand.

Dramatic footage shows firefighters blasting the inferno with water inside the building along Chok Chai 4 Road in Bangkok on November 15.

Police Captain Pracha Mueangmatcha of the Chokchai Police Station said the fire was reported at 1:10 am.

He said: 'We believe the fire started in a rubbish pile that caught fire near a pickup truck. The flames spread to nearby vehicles. We will interrogate the pickup driver for more details.'

Police said a Toyota Hilux Tiger pickup was destroyed and a Toyota Altis and Honda Mobilio were partially burned. An external air conditioning unit was also damaged.

The fire was extinguished within five minutes with no injuries reported.

Last month, three cars were also engulfed in flames at a Bangkok carpark.

The automobiles were reportedly set on fire by alleged arsonist Panthep, 44, who lit them up during a rampage on October 19.

He was taken to the Bang Khun Thian Police Station to face legal action.
