Man surprises his wife by putting a 20ft inflatable penguin in their garden
A man surprised his wife by putting a 20ft inflatable penguin in their front garden.
Kyle Philippi, 37, bought the 20ft inflatable penguin for $200 and put it up in his garden before showing "introvert" wife, Marion, 35."
In the video, Marion can be heard asking Kyle to return the penguin saying "this won't help the neighbours sell the house"
on November 10, 2024.
Kyle, a missionary, from Chattanooga, Tennessee, said: "Marion's reaction was exactly what I expected."
"My wife is an introvert and does not like to call attention to herself and I am an extravert who likes to always draw attention to myself."
"Even the next day she was asking me if we were really keeping it up."
"Our kids love it, they have been coming outside and hugging it."
In the video, Marion said: "You're kidding right."
"I don't think that you are serious right - you're kidding."
"You know our neighbours are trying to sell their house, like this is probably not going to help."
Kyle said the the neighbours love the decoration and many of them have stopped by to check it out.
He said: "Our neighbours walk a lot so some of them have been coming by."
"Everyone so far has been in shock and I think that is awesome."
"I had one neighbour come over who I have never seen before and said they could see the top of the penguin from their window and had to check it out."
