What started as a routine mountaineering training session turned into a heart-stopping moment of danger. While practicing our skills on the icy slopes, everything suddenly went wrong—my friend lost his footing and slid uncontrollably toward the edge of a massive ice cliff.

Captured on video, the terrifying scene shows my friend desperately trying to stop himself as he hurtles toward the drop. In those split seconds, panic and adrenaline took over, but thankfully, this story doesn’t end in tragedy.
