Fast-footed girls tap dance on bamboo poles in the Philippines
Two girls fast-footed girls tap danced on bamboo poles in the Philippines.
Footage shows the youngsters hopping and skipping on a speedy beat to perform the folk dance Tinikling near tourist destination Loboc River in Bohol province on August 20.
The beat was made by the bamboo hitting the floor while the pair moved around them as their friends clapped and played the guitar.
Tinikling originated during the Spanish colonial era and involves two people beating, tapping, and sliding bamboo poles on the ground in coordination with dancers.
