STORYLINE:

Former Tanzanian Prime Minister Mizengo Pinda on Thursday night praised construction projects undertaken by Beijing Construction Engineering Group (BCEG) over the past 20 years.
   
Speaking in the port city of Dar es Salaam at celebrations marking BCEG's 20th anniversary in Tanzania, Pinda said that BCEG construction projects have gained national recognition.

These projects include landmark creations such as the national stadium in Dar es Salaam and Terminal Three of Zanzibar's Abeid Amani Karume International Airport.

"In the 20 years of being in Tanzania and undertaking construction works, the Beijing Construction Engineering Group has undertaken over 40 projects that are positively impacting the lives of millions of Tanzanians. These projects have had a direct impact on education, health care, housing, and banking, and most notably, through the municipal water sanitation projects."
