This is the scary moment two paragliders became tangled mid-air, sending them plunging toward the ground.

Footage shows how the two pilots came so close to one another when landing that their parachutes became entangled in Qiaojia County, Yunnan, China, on November 10

Faced with sudden danger, the pilots reacted swiftly, deploying their reserve chutes and successfully making an emergency landing.

The video reveals them spiralling toward the ground while remaining intertwined.

Spectators watching the incident unfold are heard shouting, and children can be heard screaming as the pilots fall from the sky.

Their emergency chutes opened as intended, and the paragliders landed safely.

No injuries were reported and the exact cause of the incident is currently under investigation.
