Animal rights activists targeted the headquarters of fashion label Coach over its use of leather.

PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) supporters stormed the lobby during the company's annual meeting in New York on November 15, calling for an end to its leather sales.

The protest quickly became chaotic as demonstrators chanted, used noisemakers, and defaced the building with messages like 'Leather Kills.'

The building was locked down, and two protesters were reportedly arrested while shouting, 'Coach has blood on its hands!'

Protesters argue that the leather industry contributes significantly to climate change and environmental destruction.

PETA, known for its advocacy against animal cruelty, continues to push for stricter enforcement of animal welfare laws and the elimination of animal testing.

Coach, now part of Tapestry, Inc., trades on the New York Stock Exchange. The company rebranded in 2017 to encompass its broader portfolio of luxury brands, including Coach, Kate Spade, and Stuart Weitzman.
