Global experts in the field of maritime equipment, and representatives of well-known enterprises and industry organizations attended the World Maritime Equipment Conference 2024.

The conference opened Friday in Fuzhou, the capital of east China's Fujian Province.

Technological innovation, equipment manufacturing, industrial cooperation, and other issues were discussed during the four-day event.

Norwegian attendees at the conference have seen great potential for cooperation in the maritime industry between China and Norway.

"China is a driver in the green shift and this is also very much in the maritime industry. So there are in the green shift, I think, it's a lot of opportunities to cooperate between China and Norway in the maritime industry."
