Thrissur, India - November 18, 2024 Kerala Police has cancelled the license of a driver from Thrissur. A hefty fine of Rs 2.5 lakh has been imposed on the driver for not giving way to the ambulance. The incident took place on November 7 in Chalakudy. In which the driver allegedly refused to give way to an emergency vehicle on the way to Thrissur Medical College. However, some reports suggest that the ambulance was coming from Ponnani. Dashcam footage shared by paramedics shows that the ambulance followed the silver Maruti Suzuki Ciaz for more than two minutes on a narrow, two-lane road. Despite the ambulance driver repeatedly honking and sounding the siren, the Ciaz driver is seen blocking the emergency vehicle from passing. After this evidence came to light, Kerala Police immediately took action and took decisive action against the motorist. The police's move was widely praised
