This is the terrifying moment that a wild Siberian tiger sprinting past as a villager hurried to close the iron fence of his yard in China.

On November 18, 2024, Changtai Village, Boli County, Qitaihe City, Heilongjiang, a Siberian tiger charged through the village. While checking for the tiger’s tracks near his home, the villager initially believing the barrier would protect him and stood behind the fence.

Despite the barrier, the tiger's force was so powerful that it distorted the metal gate as the villager fled for safety. Fortunately, the villager escaped unharmed.

Local media reported that another villager was not as fortunate, suffering a left-hand bite that resulted in multiple fractures, though the limb was saved, and his vital signs remain stable.

Local forestry and polices were promptly at the scene, utilizing drones to track the elusive tiger believed to have come from nearby Caomao Ding Mountain.

Authorities are prioritizing human safety while taking measures to ensure the protection of the critically endangered Siberian tiger from the IUCN Red List.

The Siberian tiger was finally given four injections of anesthesia and then subdued and taken away by the police.
