US, Los Angeles: Victorville Wrong Way Pursuit Suspect Crashes into CHP Officer and Innocent Person
Los Angeles, United States - November 18, 2024 11/18/2024 04:22 pm (GMT-0800) VICTORVILLE, Calif. – On Monday afternoon, a pursuit resulted in two suspects being taken into custody, an innocent woman airlifted and a CHP officer suffering injuries. Victorville CHP Officers were in pursuit of a White Toyota sedan southbound I-15 when for unknown reasons, the suspect began driving in oncoming lanes, eventually crashing with a CHP officer and an innocent woman who was sitting in her van when the suspect collided with her just north of the Palmdale Road overpass on I-15 North. All lanes of travel were closed at Nisqualli Road for the airship to land on the highway. At this time, CHP logs state there were two suspects taken into custody and one CHP officer injured in the collision. The airlifted woman was an innocent bystander who was struck along with the CHP officer by the suspect.
