Tropical Storm Sara caused rivers to swell in Honduras.

Footage shows the Choluteca River surging past its banks on November 17 as the storm unleashed its fury on the region.

Sara formed in the Caribbean Sea on Thursday, causing flooding and mudslides across the Central American country.

Officials confirmed one death and reported that more than 110,000 people had been affected by the slow-moving storm.

Authorities said Sara is likely to weaken further on Monday as it moves over the southern Mexican state of Quintana Roo.
