Super Typhoon Man-yi killed eight people and left a trail of destruction in the Philippines.

Footage shows fallen electrical poles, damaged homes, and felled trees in Catanduanes province on November 19 as residents discover the aftermath of the storm.

Debris was scattered on the street while some parts of the area were submerged in flood.

While there was no rain, the wind was still strong but the locals rushed to start rebuilding.

Super Typhoon Man-yi, locally named Pepito, was the archipelago's 16th tropical cyclone this year and the sixth major storm to ravage its island in under a month. It killed at least eight people.

The typhoon made landfall twice as a super typhoon before weakening and leaving the country on Monday, November 18. It was expected to reach Hainan, China on November 20 travelling northwestward.

The typhoon comes days only after five other storms Toraji, Trami, Yinxing, Kong-rey and Usagi killed hundreds, displaced thousands and caused widespread damage.
