In the video, the aircraft, accompanied by the GERA rescue team, swoops low to assist motorists trapped by rising floodwaters.
On November 13, severe thunderstorms and torrential rain from a recent DANA once again struck coastal Spain, causing damage but no casualties - just two weeks after the deadly flash floods that had wreaked havoc in Valencia.
Officials have confirmed at least 217 fatalities from the destructive weather system that struck on October 29.
The DANA occurs when cold and warm air masses converge to form rain clouds. This type of extreme weather is believed to be becoming more frequent due to climate change.
