The U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Munro (WMSL 755) intercepted a suspected drug smuggling vessel in international waters of the Eastern Pacific.

The Munro, based in Alameda, California, conducted a high-seas interdiction on October 24.

Authorities have not released details on the haul and suspects.

As the sixth Legend-class cutter, the Munro aids efforts to combat transnational crime in a key smuggling corridor.
