Travel bucket list! Ride see-through kayaks with whale sharks swimming below
Tourists floated on see-through kayaks while whale sharks swam below off the coast of an island in Indonesia.
Footage shows the holidaymakers lying on their backs crystal-clear vessels while posing for the drone device flying above in Gorontalo province on September 17.
Three guides swam in the sea to pull them around the water while the gentle giant animals glided nearby.
Local guide Salim Uloli said: 'Visitors come here for the whale sharks and the beautiful pictures. We are proud of our place.'
Gorontalo is well-known for its whale shark tourism. The region lets visitors observe and interact with the animals in their natural habitat.
Its waters, particularly around areas like Tomini Bay, are frequented by whale sharks due to the abundance of plankton and fish, which form their primary diet.
See-through kayaks, also known as transparent or clear kayaks, are made primarily from durable, transparent materials like polycarbonate.
They can give unique views of marine life, coral reefs, and underwater landscapes.
