Bride hands boquet to friend for boyfriend to make surprise proposal
A bride handed her bouquet to a friend during the iconic flower toss - so that her boyfriend could make a marriage proposal.
The wife-to-be was having a wedding photo shoot when they planned the surprise for Agnes Lontoc De Zosa - who was unaware her partner Intoy had already asked the couple for help.
Footage shows the bride pretending to pose for the shoot while her entourage stands behind her. They count up to three, and the bride goes to Agnes, who seems confused at first.
Agnes waved the flowers, thinking they were part of the shoot, but she realised what was happening when Intoy kneeled before her, holding a ring.
Heartwarming footage shows the surprise proposal in Batangas, the Philippines, on November 7.
Agnes said: 'The bride was my boyfriend's sister. He asked them if he could do it on the wedding shoot and they were happy to co-operate.'
Agnes added that she and Intoy have been a couple for 14 years.
She said: 'We fell in love at a very young age. We started dating in 2010. We were teenage lovers.'
Their friends and families celebrated the special day with them and would now plan for their own wedding.
