This is the heartwarming moment a kitten, stuck in a pole for two days, was rescued by a cafe owner.

Staff members at the Chilling House Cafe in Bangkok, Thailand, heard a loud meow coming from one of the establishment's pillars on November 6.

This prompted the businesswoman to call a technician to open the wall and retrieve the poor cat.

Footage shows the rescuer carefully removing the black, furry creature from the narrow space.

Local reports said that the animal was not injured from being trapped inside the pillar.

Peemai Karaked said: 'The kitten had been crying, stuck in the pole for two days until the restaurant's owner decided to get a technician to break open the pole and rescue it. The cafe owner adopted it afterwards.
