India: 16 feet long python enters BSAP camp: Attacks female jawan in Supaul, Forest department rescues it and leaves it in the forest
Bhimnagar, India - November 21, 2024 Bihar, A 16 feet long python entered the Bihar Special Armed Police 12-15th (BSAP) camp in Bhimnagar, Supaul and attacked a female jawan on duty. However, she narrowly escaped. On the information of the BSAP jawans, the forest department team reached the spot and rescued and caught the python. After this, the python was left at a safe place. Forest department officer Ajay Kumar Thakur said that a commotion was created after seeing a huge python roaming in the BSAP 12 and 15th camp. Actually, the python attacked female jawan Simran Gupta during duty in the camp, after which the forest department was informed about it. Immediately after receiving the information, the forest department personnel reached the BSAP camp and rescued the more than 16 feet long python and left it safely in the forestry located at Kateya. The age of the python is said to be around 15 years. It is being said that after the Kushaha tragedy in 2008 in the Kosi river, large pythons are being seen regularly in Kateya and Kosi areas of Supaul. Recently, after seeing the python in different villages of Bhimnagar and Ratanpur police station area, the forest department team was informed. After this, the forest department team rescued and caught it.
