This is the terrifying moment children fled from a storm whipping up dirt and dust on a street.

The schoolchildren were on their way home when strong gusts of wind battered the area in Oudomxay, Laos, on November 21.

Footage shows boys and girls running away from the road to seek shelter in an open building during the rainfall. Trees can be seen rapidly moving with leaves and debris is hovering in the air.

The monsoon season usually tails off from its peak at the end of November in Asia. Residents usually experience severe rainstorms, landslides, and flash floods.
