This is the heartwarming moment a zookeeper tenderly moved a sleeping baby panda away from its mother.

The zoo staff carefully dragged the cub away from its napping mum to prevent it from being accidentally crushed in Guangdong, China, on September 3.

Footage shows the man extending his arm to reposition the baby panda close to the glass wall. Moments later, the adult panda shifted, almost rolling into her cub.
