STORYLINE:
Valencia is set to play its first La Liga football match this Saturday after the "High-Altitude Isolated Depression" or "DANA" in Spanish, which brought devastating torrential rains and severe flooding that caused more than 220 deaths and destroyed several towns in the Valencia region, eastern Spain.
In the aftermath, the Mestalla Stadium became a hub of relief efforts and was transformed into a food bank to support those affected. Hundreds of volunteers, including Valencia players, coaching staff, and club officials, stepped up to donate essential items and assist in providing aid to the community.
After the tragedy, the team has resumed training this week to prepare for their match against Real Betis, scheduled for Saturday at noon.
