STORYLINE:
Indonesia's state-owned electricity company PT PLN and China's Dongfang Electric Corporation signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Thursday to conduct a joint study aimed at accelerating green energy development in Indonesia.
Hartanto Wibowo, director of Corporate Planning and Business Development of PLN said Dongfang was chosen for its leadership in global renewable energy development.
The collaboration will explore the best ways to develop green energy alternatives in Indonesia. Both partners will design final feasibility study strategies to be completed in the next six months.
