Storm Bert hits UK. A series of video clips around Hebden Bridge of the river Calder and its tributaries in force and flooding
Ater heavy snow accross the North of England and Scotland on Saturday 23rd of November Storm Bert hit the UK. After the flood sirens sounded thawing water from the snow and heavy rain cascade down from the hills. The river Calder is in Force and as water starts to spill onto Market Street cars make their way past the water.
This video is a series of clips around Hebden Bridge with pictures of the impact of Storm Bert. Some of the clips would be useful for anyone putting together a package of the impact of Storm Bert in the UK, or anyone examining flooding in England.
Hebden Bridge was previously flooded on Boxing Day in 2015. The area in West Yorkshire in Calderdale is also known as 'happy valley' as it's the location of the BBC hit drama.
