US, Los Angeles: Compton Person Trapped After Rear Ending Box Truck

Los Angeles, United States - November 23, 2024 11/23/2024 12:20 am (GMT-0800) COMPTON, Calif. – Compton City Fire Department and allied agencies responded to reports of a traffic collision with persons trapped in the 2100 block of North Wilmington Avenue. When crews arrived at the scene, they located an Infinity coupe that had rear-ended a box truck with the driver pinned inside. Los Angeles County Fire Department's Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) responded to the scene and assisted with the driver's extrication. The driver was transported to the hospital in unknown condition. There are no further details at this time.
