US, Los Angeles: Pacoima Brush Fire Ignited By Possible Fireworks
Los Angeles, United States - November 21, 2024 11/21/2024 09:55 pm (GMT-0800) PACOIMA, LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Fire Department and California Highway Patrol units responded to reports of a brush fire on the westbound 210 Freeway and Paxton Street.CHP was advised the fire may have been started by a vehicle's occupant throwing fireworks out the window while driving. LAFD crews arrived to find two separate spot fires.A private water tender driver stopped and began using the truck's sprayers to extinguish one of the fires before the fire department arrived. He stated off-camera that he was driving and saw the fire, so he decided to stop and help.
