Clever pet cats learn tap bell for treats
This is the impressive moment clever pet cats learned to tap a bell for treats.
Phapapin Dinakara Na Ayudhaya taught her British Shorthairs, Whiskey and Thangfoo, along with Gimtung, a Scottish Fold, how to ask for food by tapping the pink service bell in Bangkok, Thailand, on November 21.
Footage shows the three felines surrounding the instrument as their owner demonstrates how to ring it to receive the treat.
However, by the end, Whiskey was the only cat who successfully learned to tap the bell for a reward.
Phapapin said: 'My other cats still haven't figured out how to use the bell, but we're still trying to teach them.'
Research suggests that British Shorthairs are highly intelligent. They are known for their eagerness to learn and can be taught basic commands and tricks.
