This is the impressive moment when a pet dog jumps on command from a little girl.

The brown pooch hopped high into the air when its young owner jumped in front of it in Henan, China, on October 11.

Footage captured by Ms Song shows the canine on a leash, staring at the child. Moments later, the girl sprang up, wanting the dog to copy her.

Upon seeing this, the animal surprisingly jumped three times, seemingly excited to play with the child.

The filmer said: 'I took my baby back to my hometown. She was both scared and eager to play with the dog, so I teased her to see if she could get the dog to jump. To my surprise, the dog really cooperated and jumped super high!'

Play is a way for dogs to express joy, excitement, and happiness. Research suggests that it can also help relieve anxiety and depression, and it serves as a means for dogs to strengthen their bond with their owners.
