India: Puppy’s plight ends in joy: rescued from deep well without scratch in central India

Shahdol, India - November 22, 2024 In a heartwarming rescue in central India's Madhya Pradesh, a dog that had been trapped in a well for 3 hours was safely rescued by a team of animal protectors. The incident took place in the Shahdol district on November 22 and was rescued within a span of 15 minutes. Visuals showed the dark, barely visible well where the puppy was struggling. Rescuers descended a bucket into the well during the night but the puppy was unable to move. Later using ropes, carefully dog was seen pulled out. Speaking to Newslions, Mr Gaurav Ralhi Mishra from Atal Kamdhenu Gausewa Sansthan confirmed that the rescue took place between 9:00 to 9:15 pm on November 22. He added that despite darkness in the well at night, the brave team successfully saved the dog's life.
