This is the shocking moment a furious passenger punched staff at an airport in Malaysia.

The disgruntled traveller, seen in the video wearing a green shirt, reportedly came to blows with ground staff over a check-in delay dispute at Terminal 1 of the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) on November 10.

Footage shows the air rage suspected battering the worker with punches in front of the check-in counter, before a security guard stepped in and separated them.

The fuming worker, who suffered minor injuries, then shouted and pointed at the passenger as they were ushered away from the area.

KLIA District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Azman Shari'at said in a statement: 'Investigation found that the incident was caused by a disagreement between the airline staff and a passenger. The incident resulted in a fight between the two individuals due to the delay in entering to register for the flight.

'Investigations related to the incident are being carried out under Section 323 of the Penal Code. The public is advised not to spread or upload any untrue and false statements.'
