Free diver and sea turtle swim in sync
A freediver and green sea turtle swam beside each other with their arms and flippers paddling in sync.
Footage shows the swimmer gliding underwater with the friendly endangered marine creature in Cebu, the Philippines, on November 20.
They floated upwards and were near the surface with sunlight shining through the water making a more mesmerising effect.
Freediver Joy Parreno said: 'I started freediving only March last year. The underwater scenery is beautiful and the sea creatures are lovely.'
Green sea turtles are large, herbivorous marine reptiles found in oceans worldwide. They are known for their distinctive greenish-coloured fat, which gives them their name.
Although conservation efforts are present, it remains listed as Endangered on the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Red List of Threatened Species.
