On November 18, in Taizhou, Zhejiang, a stray cat accidentally fell into a water channel over three meters deep. It clung desperately to a thin rope for survival but was in constant danger of falling back into the water, hanging by a thread.

A passing man noticed the cat and decided to rescue it. He first brought a bucket, tied it to a rope, and lowered it to the cat, hoping it would climb in. However, the wary cat jumped away, falling back into the water. The cat was submerged several times but managed to claw its way back to the channel wall.

The man then modified his rescue tools. He tied a basket to the rope, taking advantage of the cat’s ability to scratch and climb. With the cat tightly gripping the rope and basket, he successfully lifted it to safety.

Fortunately, the cat was unharmed and wandered off on its own after being rescued.
