On November 11, in Kuitun, Xinjiang, a man named Yu was driving a three-wheeled electric vehicle in a motor vehicle lane when he ran a red light at an intersection. He collided head-on with a white SUV that was crossing the intersection on a green light.

Yu was thrown from his vehicle upon impact, and the three-wheeler, now unmanned, began spinning wildly in circles at the intersection. Police intervened promptly, but the vehicle ended up crashing into three other cars before finally stopping.

The accident resulted in damage to four cars and the three-wheeler, as well as minor injuries to Yu. Following an investigation, traffic police determined that Yu was fully responsible for the accident due to running the red light and driving in the wrong lane.
