Volunteers delivered 800 free Thanksgiving meals to struggling families.

The Children's Diagnostic & Treatment Center (CDTC) hosted its 32nd annual Thanksgiving Basket Brigade, providing holiday support to families of children with special healthcare needs.

More than 100 Good Samaritans assembled and packed baskets with frozen turkeys and traditional holiday foods on Saturday, November 23. The next day, they delivered holiday meals to the homes of pediatric patients across Broward County.

CDTC's executive director, Ana Calderon Randazzo, said: 'We're incredibly grateful to the volunteers and sponsors who make this possible.

'It's about coming together to support our most vulnerable families during a meaningful time of year.'

CDTC, a not-for-profit subsidiary of Broward Health, provides care to 11,000 patients annually, assisting children and families with chronic illnesses and developmental challenges.
