The Syrian authorities on Wednesday launched works to reopen the international road linking the Jdeidet Yabous crossing with the Lebanese border after filling in the craters caused by an Israeli airstrike.
Authorities created a temporary road to facilitate passage until the completion of the full rehabilitation works.
Israel hit the road last month as part of its attacks on border crossings between Syria and Lebanon.
