Dog sits calmly in water as village floods
A pet dog sat calmly in the water as a coastal village was sampled by floods in the Philippines.
Footage shows the brown Aspin pooch observing the streets while submerged up to its chest in Bohol province on November 28.
Resident Van Kim Gabato said: 'The dog is used to the high tide now.'
The village is on an island in the eastern part of the archipelago where high tides, even in summer, cause seawater to flow into homes.
During high tide, the tiny island, with a little more than 800 residents, is submerged up to waist-deep as seawater reaches the homes. Fish can even be seen swimming through the doors.
