Passengers stuck in airport amid severe snow in South Korea
Passengers were stranded at an airport as record November snow fell in South Korea.
Footage shows disgruntled passengers waiting to board their flights at the Incheon International Airport as the cold snap caused delays and cancellations today, November 28.
Tourist Manmeet Singh Bhatti said: 'The last 12 hours have been a nightmare. These guys don't have the basics of crowd management. No word from Korean Air, they are just sending the passengers to the Transfer help desk.'
Authorities said around 142 flights were cancelled and 76 ferry routes were suspended on Thursday as the country saw heavy snowfall for a second day.
The capital Seoul saw the most severe November snowfall at 6.3in (16cm) on Wednesday, topping the previous record of 4.9in (12.4cm) in November 1972.
Local media Yonhap reported at least five deaths in neighbouring Gyeonggi province. Four died when a structure collapsed under heavy snow, while another was killed in a bus crash on an icy road.
