Los Angeles, United States - November 28, 2024 11/28/2024 01:54 am (GMT-0800) PALMDALE, Calif. – Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics and Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department deputies from the Palmdale Station responded to the intersection of West Avenue N and 60th Street, West for a reported traffic collision with people trapped. Upon arrival, paramedics and firefighters located a silver Mercedes with extensive damage. Multiple adults were trapped inside the car with extensive injuries. Firefighters performed lifesaving techniques and worked tirelessly to free the victims from the wreckage. At least four individuals were observed transported to a local area hospital in critical condition. A nearby resident who declined to speak on camera stated that the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed when the collision occurred. The resident also said this is a common issue on West Avenue N. Palmdale station deputies were still conducting their investigation at the time of this report. The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
