Don Julio Grill is the best restaurant in Latin America 2024
Once again, Don Julio is the best restaurant in Latin America. In 2020, it had already reached the top of the Latin America's 50 Best Restaurants list. “We didn't expect this. I'm very happy for the whole team,” said Pablo Rivero, owner of this popular Palermo grill before an auditorium full of colleagues and journalists. And after praising the Peruvian Maido, which came in second place, he added: “This time, it wasn't the best restaurant that won, but the most beloved one.”
This year, the gala took place at the National Historical Museum of Brazil in Rio de Janeiro. The ceremony was broadcast live via streaming on YouTube. According to the organizers, a panel of experts in the gastronomic field made up of 300 people of different nationalities participated in the voting.
