A festive Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade rolled through New York.

Footage shows the lively celebration featuring different characters in gigantic balloons for the 98th annual event on the rainy morning of November 28.

Reports said the parade included 22 large balloons, 34 floats, 11 marching bands, and several music performances.

It followed a 2.5-mile route from Manhattan's Upper West Side to Herald Square, debuting new balloons this year, including Elf on the Shelf, Marshall from PAW Patrol, and Goku from Dragon Ball.

Participants were also dressed in festive costumes, adding to the lively atmosphere of the occasion.

Macy's, the iconic department store chain, has hosted the Thanksgiving Day Parade since 1924, making it a beloved tradition in the city.
