This is the heartwarming moment Russia sent humanitarian aid to under-siege Gaza.

The country's Ministry of Emergency Situations (MChS) delivered its 32nd humanitarian aid flight, carrying 28 tons of essential supplies aboard an IL-76 aircraft, on November 28.

The cargo, which included food, basic necessities, and rehabilitation equipment, arrived in Egypt to be transported to the Gaza Strip by representatives of the Egyptian Red Crescent.

Since the start of its humanitarian efforts, Russia has provided the region with 827 tons of aid.

Israel has blitzed the Gaza Strip in retaliation for an attack by the governing party Hamas on a Jewish music festival on 7 October last year.

However, the situation - which Israel claims is self-defence - has attracted criticism from around the world.

Craig Mokhiber, a director at the United Nations, has resigned over the organization's 'failure' to act against what he called a 'text-book case of genocide' by Israel against Gaza.
