US, Los Angeles: Palmdale JC Penny Jewelry Smash and Grab
Los Angeles, United States - November 29, 2024 11/29/2024 08:57 pm (GMT-0800) PALMDALE, Calif. – The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Palmdale deputies responded to the 1200 block of West Rancho Vista Boulevard for a reported robbery in progress at the JCPenney department store located inside the Antelope Valley Mall. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with several JCPenney employees who advised deputies that multiple individuals had entered the location at the jewelry counter and smashed the glass using a hammer, grabbing various pieces of jewelry. According to officials, the suspects got away with about $45,000 in jewelry. The store was occupied with customers when the incident occurred. Many shoppers were engaged in Black Friday sales, buying holiday gifts. No one was injured during this incident .
