STORYLINE:
The 7th Egyptian Honey Festival concluded on Saturday at Al-Horreya Park in Zamalek, Cairo.
The event was held to highlight the development work of the honey industry in Egypt, and to present honey to the Egyptian public at a reasonable price.
SOUNDBITE (Arabic): ASHRAF MASOUD, Exhibitor
"As for Egyptian honey, we have many types, more than fifteen types of honey. We have clover honey, which the Egyptian people are accustomed to.
As for honey, its benefits are many, as I mean, for children. They eat it for breakfast before they go to school. It is also a general stimulant. There are also other products that follow honey. I mean there is pollen, propolis, and royal jelly. All of this is, of course, 100 percent natural from bees, and all of this, of course, helps a person strengthen the body and strengthen immunity and also gives him activity and vitality throughout the day. As I mean, there are many alternatives."
This year's festival drew exhibitors from different governorates of Egypt and several other Arab countries.
