Recently, on the vast Xilingol Grassland in Inner Mongolia, a herder named Leilei crafted an eco-friendly and energy-efficient icebox using natural materials.

Leilei used a large iron barrel as a mold, filling it with water to create the icebox body. To make the lid and handle, he placed a basin on the water's surface and added a large bone inside.

After leaving it to freeze for a day and night, a natural icebox took shape. He removed the basin, emptied the unfrozen water from inside the icebox, and poured hot water on the iron barrel to release the icebox in one piece. To complete his creation, he added a label reading “Grassland Icebox Energy Consumption,” making a fully operational, zero-energy icebox.

Leilei explained that this natural icebox can be used until the following spring, proving to be highly practical.
