- December 01, 2024 The Israeli army bombed homes in overnight strikes in the northern Gaza Strip, killing at least 15 people in one of the buildings in the town of Beit Lahiya, Palestinian medical personnel said Monday. Other people were wounded in the attack and others went missing after a house sheltering displaced people was hit, but rescue teams were unable to reach them immediately, the Palestinian Civil Emergency Service said. The three barely operational hospitals in the area were unable to treat the number of wounded, they added. Several groups of houses were bombed and some burned in Jabalia and in Beit Lahiya and Beit Hanoun, where the Israeli army has been operating for several weeks, residents said.
